Support the directory

Support is not open yet. The accounts are being set up. This page is here rather than a button that leads nowhere, which is the sort of thing that makes a site look abandoned.

Where the cost actually goes

• Link checking. Every listing is fetched and verified at build time. Roughly a tenth of projects move, change domain or quietly disappear each year, and finding that out is the work nobody else in this market does.
• Covers. Artwork is normalised to one shape per card. Mixed source aspect ratios otherwise make the grid look broken.
• Hosting. Modest, but not free.

What the site will never do to raise money

• No advertising network and no third-party ad script. One banner, sold directly, at most.
• No paid placement in the catalogue and no ranking for sale. The order is alphabetical and the most-played list is measured, not bought.
• No selling of visitor data, because none is collected in the first place.
• No accounts, so there is nothing to upsell you into.
